Rupture of middle meningeal artery (branch of maxillary artery), often 2° to skull fracture.
ReplyDeletePresents with Lucid interval. Rapid expansion under systemic arterial pressure leads to transtentorial herniation which presents as CN III palsy(one of the early sign of TT herniation).
